The ABAA New York Book Fair

Come the second weekend in March the American Antiquarian Booksellers' Association [aka ABAA] will host their 58th Annual New York International Book Fair at the Seventh Regiment Armory at 643 Park Avenue between 66th and 67th Streets.  The dates are Thursday March 8th to Sunday the 11th.   The show, now described as having more than 200 dealers, is the most important of its type in the world.

Not to say you must twist arms to get people to come to New York.  The people, restaurants, shows and connections make New York City a Mecca although in March it’s a small “m” but absolutely a wonderful experience.  The rare book related events simply break down every logical reason not to go.  So, plan your trip.
