11 new catalogues.

After several months of receiving almost no new catalogues, an obvious effect of the coronavirus, someone just turned the spigot back on. We received 11 of them for the new month. Now all we need is a vaccine.

 

Pulp and science fiction specialist Fantasy Illustrated has issued its first printed catalogue in over 20 years. You better grab this one because it may be awhile before the next. The Veatchs Arts of the Book have introduced their latest acquisitions in the book arts. Samuel Gedge Ltd. has a new catalogue of the unusual material for which they are noted. L & T Respess Books has printed a miscellany full of interesting things.

 

It has been a while, though nothing like 20 years, since we saw a new catalogue from Michael D. Heaston Rare Books and Manuscripts. This selection of fascinating Americana, particularly the West and Civil War, is well worth the wait. Back of Beyond Books features the American West, Civil War, Texas and more. Old West Books, of course, also targets the American West. The William Reese Company focuses on African Americana.

 

Librairie Clavreuil offers a selection of French antiquarian books. Hordern House Rare Books, Manuscripts, Paintings features Pacific travels, Australia, and more. The Lawbook Exchange offers material on the law of western nations.
