Old World Auctions specializes in genuine antique maps, atlases and decorative graphics originating between the 14th and early 20th centuries. The company is owned and operated by Eliane and Jon Dotson of Glen Allen, Virginia. It began operations in 1977 and through the years has grown tremendously from a small mail auction to one of the largest specialist auctions in the United States. They are an internet-based auction, with quarterly auctions featuring over 800 lots per auction. Old World Auctions fully guarantees both the authenticity and condition of all items offered for auction.
