Boisgirard is a family operated auction house which opened at the Hôtel Drouot in Paris in 1934. Now into its third generation of family members, the firm remains a major force in the world of art, antiquities, furniture and jewelry. While books are not the firm's primary specialty, they often come up in the collections they offer.

In 2002, Boisgirard opened a second gallery on the French Riveria in Nice.
