Description

Yeshiva Ahavas Torah Baranovich was founded in 1997 to continue the life of the Jewish community of Baranovich, virtually all of which was wiped out in the Holocaust in 1942. Up to that time, Baranovich was a thriving community with a majority Jewish population, located at the intersection of two important rail lines. It is located in the area that has at various times been part of Russia and Poland, and is today situated within the boundaries of Belarus.

Yeshiva Ahavas Torah Baranovich is an institution involved in many activities. One of those is Judaica auctions, which encompasses all types of Judaica, books included. While the main offices of the Yeshiva are in Jerusalem, the auctions are conducted from their location in New York.
